Japan Day 1 - Safe Arrival! (well. mostly...)

Well, I'm still alive, and checked into my hotel with a minmum of trouble. And free internet. Yay! This is the smallest hotel room ever... but the bed is huge. oo;

As for the flight...

Dear Zoi:CHICAGO HATES YOU. No matter how much cheaper the fare is, don't be tempted! NEVER FLY THROUGH CHICAGO AGAIN.This time it wasn't a 28hr stop over. Rather, they had some fueling problem, so our plane sat on the ashfalt for almost an hour and a half before we could disembark. Thankfully, the Narita flight was also delayed, so the other Tokyo-bound girl and I managed to get on the flight, but....Our luggage didn't. -_-;;;

Apparently they're going to deliver it to my hotel tomorrow evening, though. *crosses fingers* Now I have to figure out how to express to the lovely counter ladies that my luggage will be arriving tomorrow - likely while I'm out seen Hizaki Grace Project. The cute little girl at the luggage counter was really nice (and seemed happy that I wasn't angry) and spoke very good english, which made it rather more reassuring to have no luggage.

I suppose I can thank the 28hour stopover for teaching me to pack a change of clothes in my carry on... because I don't think I'd find undies to fit my ginormous ass here. *lol* But I have no toiletries, and no hand cream *cries* and the ethernet cable for Imai is in there, and the charger for Shin-phone (who will be serving his stay in Japan as a glorified alarm clock, hahaha). It also has the charger for my camera and spare battery, which is annoying as the one that I just bought apparently wasn't pre-charged -_-;;; so other than taking a photo of the Spork they gave me on the airplane, I Might be photo-less for the next couple of days... or just using the camera on my Shin-phone.

I guess I should be glad that I didn't get tickets to see Rice in Osaka, or else I'd be freaking the hell out right now, there's no way they'd be able to get my luggage to me if I was off and running right away, without this first day in Tokyo. ^^;;

Beyond all the luggage trouble.... It's so, so good to be home back in Tokyo. <3>
